Camping in the Park

For 2017 camping is available on Friday June 9th, and Saturday June 10th. Spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Payment can be made at the gate the night of June 9 and June 10 with cash, credit card or debit card. (sorry NO checks)

Only campers with the $5 festival wristband will be allowed to camp in the park.

Choose your spot

You may pay for a camping space in advance online at www.cowcreekbluegrassfestival.com or at Pittsburg Parks and Rec 710 W. 9th St. Pittsburg, KS. There is NO GUARANTEE the space you want will be available. If you pay online your tags will be waiting for you at the gate when you arrive.

Check in time starts 5 pm on Friday June 9th. The Pork Rind Brothers Bluegrass Band has agreed to host a campfire jam on Friday.

All Camping is on the east side of Lincoln Park. (Band dome side)

Moving in

All campers  need to unload their gear or trailers from a vehicle, do so then move their vehicle to the parking area adjacent to Memorial Drive. Please NO parking in the grass. Look at the map.

Tent camping is $5 a night. Yes, you can get electricity for $5. Each tent and each extension cord will be tagged. ($10 total for the two).

Tent camping is allowed in most of the east park area except where designated for trailers, or behind (south side) the band dome.

Trailer/RV camping is available for $10 a night. There is no 50 amp plug in available at this time. An extension cord with 20/30amp 110v can be offered at $5. ($15 for the two). Each Trailer/RV and each extension cord will be given an authorization tag.  All Trailer/RV campers need to be self-contained. The spaces available are at the south edge of the park area by the creek. Look at the map, then choose your spot. If the ten spots listed are taken accommodations will be made to get you in to camp. Camp Fires

Campfires are allowed ONLY IN APPROVED CONTAINERS. This means grills, fire pits, chiminea, outdoor fireplaces and the like. NO OPEN FIRES. NO PITS DUG INTO THE GROUND. ALL FIRES MUST BE CONTAINED AND OFF THE GROUND.   NO FIRE RINGS WITH ROCK, BRICK OR METAL. THE FIRE MUST BE OFF THE GROUND.

ANYONE NOT ADHEARING TO THIS RULE WILL BE TOLD TO EXTENGUISH THEIR FIRE!
